Fearful children…Oh Dear Chicago.

More must be done.
More should be done
PS: We ALL must do ‘this MORE’ because a one directional approach will not solve this problem.
Baby steps should not be discouraged rather praised.
A comprehensive, multi- dimensional approach must be sought ranging from better protections, bans, back ground checks, registration requirements, community initiatives, parental involvent, presence and influence, faith based initiatives, prayers, schools and after school programs etc
While we deliberate, remember to pray for the victims, families and communities impacted daily and please pray for God’s protection, mercy, healing and restoration for the city of Chicago.
Pray; it shall be well because the power of prayer is not in who says it but God who hears and responds.
Meditate on these verses from Psalm 91-
This I declare about the Lord : He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. (Psalms 91:2-7 NLT)
It is well in Jesus Name, Amen.
