Today is International Women’s Day (IWD), and in the Month of March designated ‘Women’s History Month‘ in the United States. Coincidentally, this is the 100th International Women’s Day and the theme chosen by the United Nations is, “Equal access to education, training, science and technology–Pathway to decent work for women.”
So we join the world in honoring, celebrating, appreciating, loving, and respecting our women worldwide. You are all precious jewels, continue to make a difference. While a day isn’t enough to celebrate women, may I suggest that we all continue to celebrate International Women’s Day daily and year long by becoming aware, interested and involved in eradicating illiteracy and injustice towards women and humanity. Our women deserve it and may posterity be richer and better for it.
